RECEPTIONIST – TEMPORARY/CONTRACT


SUMMARY

Answer all telephone calls and direct to proper department. Greet all visitors, assist them with sign-in process and then contact the employee they are meeting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to appropriate personnel in a courteous, articulate and timely manner.
  • Greet visitors in a professional manner as well as managing duties of sign-in, distributing visitor passes, contacting the employee the guest is meeting with, signing out guest and collecting passes after the meeting is complete.
  • In case of an emergency which requires evacuation of the building, evacuate with the visitor log and other required manuals located at the reception desk.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed and assigned by the Office Manager.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel software.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
